Hey Reader!

AnnaMaria Phelps here.

Late Pledges are now open for CVLT (cult) - a drafting-based competitive trick taker. This delightful little card game combines elements of familiar game mechanics with a unique twist to make it fresh. Players will find that there is no 'super' suit. Hands provide cards to draft, building a pile to give away or keep for points.

One Board Family describes it as, "Perfect for seasoned trick-taking fans..." Physical copies have just made it to the US, though a rush to beat the tariff means there are limited copies available.

Long Tail Games CEO, Ash Hauenschild, has been a long-time Protospiel Online member. CVLT had a successful Kickstarter after 3 years of development, citing Protospiel Online as a strategic resource. "The Protospiel Online community played a pivotal role in the development of my trick-taking game. From first concept to the final significant changes, almost every major stage can be traced back to a handful of playtest sessions with Protospiel." Long Tail Games' library of products includes Sunderland and Tiny Tome 1 & 2.

Greg Pool's game Soccer 54: Premier was a finalist in the Deck Hand Games design contest (playing cards + 18 custom cards). Although Greg didn't win 1st place, he got the popular vote for who backers thought would win, so Deck Hand Games may pick it up yet!

Mattie Schraeder ran Geekway to the West's 2nd Playtest and Win event with 135 unique unguided playtests in 4 days. They had 2 more games and 35 more playtests than last year.🎉

Joe Slack's new game Knight Moves launched on Gamefound 2 days ago and has already been 485% funded!
