Protospiel Online supporters (and regulars) Xoe Allred, Matthew Hocker, and Maia Thomas have teamed up to form Lunarpunk Games. Lunarpunk will feature games that are multivictor or victorless - games that don’t rank players by declaring a single winner or a single path to win.

A couple of games that fall into the multivictor category you may have seen around Protospiel Online conventions are Xoe's Vibes and Matthew's Hollow, both of which have repeatedly come up in our Prototype Showcase and Giveaway livestreams as our attendees talk about their most memorable playtesting experiences from the weekend.

Maia Thomas has been hard at work creating the brand's logo and general aesthetic, going for a look to match their intention of "solarpunk and that sort of utopian vision, but like the yang side of it."

Xoe told us, “While we're not ready to receive pitches for games, we are committed to supporting and uplifting designers working on their own unranked games. As avid Protospiel alumni, we would love to see what you're working on and discussing so we can push the medium forward together.”

For those attending Unpub March 27-30, keep an eye out for the Lunarpunk team if you want to meet some of them in person.
